Blogs can help teachers promulgate important classroom information, including: assignments, web resources, and policies for classroom management. Also, this type of interface could greatly reduce classroom consumption of paper products by allowing teachers and students to work on assignments in a digital media.

RSS feeds, in conjunction with applications like Google Reader, can help teachers and students communicate, and put up-to-date information in a concise and close format.

Some cool RSS feeds I found include:

my brother's YouTube page: http://www.youtube.com/user/elkirkmo

the Hulu page for the ridiculously funny T.V. show, Community:

http://www.hulu.com/community

and Pollstar: the Concert Hotwire: http://www.pollstar.com/

  2. Promulgate, eh? Nice word choice English major. And I agree that blogs are useful so that we future modern English teachers will have to consume paper less. Nice blog.
